Breakfast will be served from ( 8:15am to 9:15am) to all players and supporters in the dining room. If the players could have breakfast first this will enable them to get ready for the rugby festival in good time.
The Rugby Festival will start at 9:30am and all teams should meet on the pitches at 9:10am. Coaches to meet at 9:15am by the Marquee to register and go through Festival Format, rules of play and pitch location where matches will be played. The Festival should be completed by 12:30pm approx.
Many of the rugby clubs have asked to bring more teams this year and please see below if you are happy with the following teams you are bringing to the festival. If for any reason a team cannot come could you please let me know as I will have to tweak the format and programme.
With more teams coming I am aware that parking may be a little tight. Could we please try and car share with other team members which will certainly help with car parking. All parking will be in the main school and teams, coaches and supporters then walk down to the pitches which is a 5 minute walk. If you are bringing a minibus we can hopefully park these on the pitches.
All teams will play 6 matches with 10 minute one way duration of play. With 6 matches please could I ask each Club coach or school teacher to help with the refereeing during the festival. This will be shared between all the coaches and school teachers.
With teams with more than one team please could you make sure you have another playing shirt in case there is a clash if you play each other during the festival.
At the end of the rugby festival each team will get a box of packed lunches for you to take away.
