Sport England reveals that 6.2 million adults generously invest their time at least twice a year to fuel the flame of sports and physical activity across the UK. Volunteers are the unsung heroes without whom community sports would come to a standstill.
At London Irish Amateur RFC (LIARFC), we share this sentiment and place immense value on our dedicated volunteers. As a thriving club boasting over 1200 members, our volunteers play a pivotal role in every aspect of our operations, from administration and coaching to officiating matches. Yet, as we continue to grow, we're on the lookout for individuals with skills in vital business-related roles such as marketing, finance, legal, event management, and sponsorship.
Maintaining the highest standards and achieving playing success is a collective effort, and that's where you come in. We invite our membership and the broader LIARFC family to consider lending their support in these crucial roles.
Volunteers at LIARFC are as diverse as the sport itself—varying in ages, skills, and experiences. They are not all sports enthusiasts, but they share a common passion for contributing to something greater than themselves.
Whether you have a wealth of professional expertise, a love for sports, or unique personal skills and experiences, we welcome you to join our team. Even if you only have a couple of hours to spare, your contribution can make a significant impact.
If you are ready to channel your skills and passion into something meaningful, please reach out to us. Your involvement can help us maintain the vibrant spirit of LIARFC and continue our journey towards excellence.
