Do you allow Dogs?

No dogs are allowed at the Hazelwood Centre.

Where are LIARFC located?

Hazelwood the home of London Irish is located not far from the banks of the river Thames in Lower Sunbury.

By Car we are approximately 1 mile from Junction 1 of the M3 taking the exit for Lower Sunbury.

By Train our nearest Station is Sunbury on the Shepperton Line from Waterloo. The station is approximately 18 minutes walk to Hazelwood. Or the 216 and 235 bus stops are located St Ignatius Church stop.

By Bus the 216 (Kingston / Staines) and 235 (from Brentford) stop at Croysdale Avenue at the entrance to Hazelwood.

Is there parking at Hazelwood?

Hazelwood has parking however on match days it can be extremely busy and we ask you to be considerate and cooperate with our parking attendants if they are on duty.

Alternative parking is available in the local area, but be mindful of the distance to both the clubhouse and pitches.

Consider the environment, car share or use public transport where you can.

Please be considerate of our neighbours and use public parking available locally.

Where are the changing rooms located?

The changing rooms will have been pre allocated for your match. Please see pitch plan. Changing rooms are numbered 1 to 6 and are located on the right hand side of the Clubhouse viewed from the main car park. Click here for a layout of Hazelwood.

Access to the changing rooms is:

When facing the clubhouse from the car park, there is a large London Irish logo attached to the building on the right hand side (to the right of the main entrance), a small footpath leads down the side of the building to the changing rooms.

Via the tunnel and turn right at the lawn walking past the bar area.

Through the bar area, out the doors to the lawn and turn right.

Where is the team room and bar area?

The team room and bar area are accessed via the main entrance with the team room straight ahead and bar area to the right.

Where are the toilets?

The toilets are located just inside the main entrance of the clubhouse to the right. Additional portaloos are available behind the 4G Pitch.

Where can I fill water bottles?

Troughs on the fence outside the changing rooms have taps for filling water bottles and cleaning boots.

Where is my pitch?

Your allocated pitch will be numbered and a layout will be sent to you before match day (Click here for the current pitch layout).

Remember Hazelwood is a 63-acre site and the distance to pitches can be a 5 to 10 minute walk.

Do you have covered spectator seating?

We have limited covered seating on Pitch 1. Please note this is a reasonable walk from the Clubhouse to the far side of the pitch. Please come prepared for the elements.

What will the weather be like?

Ask the Met Office.

In the event of adverse weather you will be contacted by the fixture lead.

What do we expect?

LIARFC are committed to follow the Core Values of rugby and it is important that our visitors do so too. These values are: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship (TREDS).

We ask all players, coaches and supporters to respect officials and their decisions. Respect opposition players, coaching staff and supporters.
Observe fair play on and off the pitch.

Enjoy the game showing your team and the opposition the respect and support they deserve.

Please no boots in the Clubhouse.

What facilities are available before and after the game?

Hazelwood is a fully managed facility with licensed bar and resident chef. On match days a range of cooked foods are available to all visitors and the public. (Click here for an example)
BT Sport and Sky Sports are shown on large screens. Live music is performed at certain events, check ahead of time.

If I need a taxi home?
