We are delighted to be in our 3rd season as a Ladies & Girls Rugby club, serving the local community, our existing club family and aspiring new rugby players. London Irish Amateur RFC is a progressive and enjoyable environment for Ladies & Girls to play the great game of rugby. Our facilities and Coaching are second to none, we ensure that we provide Coaching suitable for Players who have never played before to those looking for some longer-term player development opportunities. Rugby is a game that is immediately accessible to all levels. People play for 10+ years and still learn new things about the game every time they step onto the pitch or go into a game. At the same time, a first-season Player can become a key player for the team, we welcome everyone and we are excited to be part of your rugby playing journey.

Rugby is an inclusive sport and London Irish ARFC are an inclusive club, here we promote #thisgirlcan

In August 2017 we had the great honour Lynne Cantwell becoming the Patron for our Ladies Club. Lynne, an ex-vice-captain and mainstay of the revolutionary Irish ladies’ team is the most capped player for Ireland, including the 2013 Grand slam. Since her retirement in 2014, Lynne has become a renowned Rugby pundit and manages her Physiotherapy clinic. Lynne is an inspiration to Ladies & Girls and to a whole generation of players created by her achievements and sacrifice in the name of the sport Rugby. We look forward to moving through the seasons with her reassuring and experienced hand at the helm. We have bold aspirations to grow our Ladies club, teamwork, cohesion and coordination is everything alongside the inspirational endorsement of a Rugby heroine such as Lynne.
