[quote_left]The Nomads played the second half with only 13 men[/quote_left]

The Nomads suffered their first defeat in 18 months at Sutton and Epsom on Saturday 28 November.

Unfortunately, they had a few last-minute unavailables in the morning and started with 15 players. However, after 15 minutes they were down to 14 – and by half-time down to 13!

Despite this, the Nomads impressively led by 14-12 at halftime. But, not surprisingly, they ran short of steam, conceding two converted tries in the last five minutes. The final score was 36-14.

The up-side was that a cracking game of rugby was played, and the team came off the pitch with their heads held high. They also had their first female referee, who managed the game well.
