London Irish has been playing Amateur Rugby in London since 1898 and today offer a warm welcome to new players (male and female) of all standards and all ages from 5 to 55.
Our home is the state-of-the-art Hazelwood Centre in Sunbury-on-Thames, offering full-size grass pitches and a 4G pitch as well as mini pitches for our younger players over a 63-acre site, fabulous clubhouse and bar offering relaxed seating, fresh tea and coffee, food prepared in our own kitchens and substantial onsite car parking. Hazelwood was used as a training base during Rugby World Cup by Wales, New Zealand, Fiji and Argentina.
Our season runs from 4 September 2016 to the end of April 2017.
We offer first class coaching in a family club with a strong community emphasis where everyone is encouraged to get involved.
Our senior team, known as the Wild Geese, play in National League 2 South and along with our other senior teams normally play on Saturdays and train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
The Mini, Youth and Colts teams (covering Under 5 to Under 21) generally train and play on Sunday mornings between 1000 and 1200. The older Youth and Colts teams also train one evening during the week.
